Seems to help calm my old pup down, as evidenced by fewer barks per minute. Not quite the right fit, as I feel it can be a bit suffocating and is tight when wrapping around my doggo's tummy. If the velcro is exposed and touching your dog, it can be a bit irritating and abrasive.

My small frenchie is well behaved, but has been having heightened separation anxiety for the last year or so. To the point that he was urinating inside and he’s been fully potty trained for his entire 6 years of life. I was using belly bands to keep him from ruining my apartment, but it was like they were making the urination more frequent. I ordered this on a whim and let me tell you - it’s literally a CURE ALL!!!!!
Whenever he wears this, he is a lot less anxious and doesn’t need to follow my every step. He doesn’t pee in the belly bands when he has this on either. My bf and I can notice a drastic difference between when he’s wearing it and he’s not. I highly recommend and wish there were colors or styles so I could order him a few.

My dog does not like wearing sweaters, but he LOVES his calming vest! He literally does not want me to take it off of him and I notice a big difference in him. He is calm and relaxed when he has it on. I highly recommend!

This is one of my favorite honest paws products. It’s as if you’re coddling a baby— it gives your dog a feeling or safety and reassurance that everything is going to be OK. perfect for when you’re leaving the house, thunderstorms, loud noises taking place (like construction), having guests over, leaving for vacation. Just remember to keep the area cool, so your pup doesn’t get too warm!

It fit perfectly for my 90lb. Lab/Shepard mix. The Velcro fastened securely and stayed in place even over night. Dexter usually doesn’t like anything on him but he did not mind this Calm Vest.

The calm vest really works for Ella, our yellow lab mix, when she is frightened. As soon as she hears thunder or feels the barometer change she runs into our bedroom, and we put on the calm vest. It seems to soothe her to be enveloped in the vest.
