    Rusty is a 3 1/2 old Corgi Basset Mix. He has shown to have high levels of anxiety especially at daycare where he was also shying away & keeping to himself. What an improvement! After starting Honest Paw he has come out of his shell & is playing & mingling with the other pups. I cannot believe how much he has changed.     Chillin! I’m so glad I gave these a try! She’s so relaxed and calm! We give our pup the tincture oil and the peanut butter treats! We give them before trips in the car, storms, fireworks, and boat rides. After 12 years and many years of anxiety and seizures (brought on by stress and anxiety) the poor old girl can finally chillax!

    If you’re wondering if they work? They really do! Make sure you get the correct dosage! Get your pup both the oil and the PB treats!!

    The proper amount of CBD is an art - not a science. Meaning most pet parents will need to play around with the amount of CBD they give your pet until they see the desired effects. With that said, here are some tips and tricks to get you started:

    • For pets under 25 lbs, we recommend 5mg of CBD per day.

    • For pets between 25 and 50 lbs, we recommend 10mg of CBD per day.

    • For pets over 50 lbs, we recommend 15mg of CBD per day.

    With that said, every pet is unique and may require less OR more CBD to get the desired effect. If your pet is new to CBD, we recommend starting with half the recommended amount and then increase from there. Your pet may respond well to 50% of the recommended amount. However, if you do not notice a change, you can increase the dose to the full, recommended amount.

    As mentioned before, some pets may require more CBD. In that case, it is perfectly acceptable to increase the amount of CBD given. However, you will want to do so slowly over time. For instance, if our 5lb pet is not responding to 5mg of CBD, then we would recommend increasing the amount by 50% the following day.

    Meaning, the 5lb pet would receive 7.5mg of CBD. You can continue to increase the amount until you see the desired effects.
